I have read a few of your posts that showed up in my search. The Governor-General before her was criticized for expenses too as you may well remember. She is not a regular Canadian while in this office and the security aspect I can understand. A large amount of her function is to be an ambassador which involves travel. It is to be hoped that she, along with other government participants will keep in mind the dire need for expenditure control. I see it coming in a big way. Have seen a few hints already.
