This is the House that JACK built

He would rant and rave about NAFTA to the United States and Mexico and either get rid of or make out of it something unrecognizable, and in turn make us the laughing stock of other countries. All this because he feels we are so closely aligned to United States policy(?) For goodness sakes Jack, get real, they are our neighbours and biggest trading partners. We are not an island, and please remember how bad relations were between Canada and the USA when Chretien and Martin were at the helm. Would you believe that one or more of Jack’s people running in this election want to close down the tar sands !!! ( I guess that means truckloads of “fill” heaved on it) He is against big business and corporations who keep us “running”. A columnist with the National Post wrote this conclusion if Jack Layton got his way about big corporations He should look at the responses so far to his plan. Some feel it would encourage families to have children so that they can collect a nice tidy sum every month from the government. I thought Dion lived in a dreamworld, and I still do, but Jack is showing us how far into dreams in technicolour he really has fallen. Isn’t this the guy, and his wife, who were so against the child care the Conservatives were offering? Ms. Chow screamed about claw backs and how beastly unfair we are to families. He took every opportunity, when a mic was present, to tell the world Canada is going in the wrong direction and only the NDP have the solutions. Only the NDP understand the working families and the downtrodden. He says the Conservatives have done absolutely nothing with their time in office. (huh? take a look here at two or more years of accomplishments). Good spin Jack but we know you do not believe it. It is all about swinging people to your side. What will you do with them when they get there? And, Jack, you just took one of our policies and made it your own. Now that is funny. You really are the purple limit. Watch out you do not hurt yourself when reality hits and the crash landing happens. You can bring out all the people to hoot and shout Jack. Wave your placards and banners. Invite the media and stomp about. You and your NDP executive can have your merry little time slapping each other on the back with your strategy accomplishments. We are not fooled. It’s all talk and not tried and true. You would get the shock of your life if your party had to run a country. Think hard Canadians. Look deeper and you will find flaws with the NDP or the Liberals. We already have the right Prime Minister in place who is steering our Canadian ship in the right direction into steady and calm waters.
The problem is, if he ever made it to 24 Sussex Drive, an almost pathological hostility toward the corporate sector would quickly turn Canada into a North American Zimbabwe.
This man has been stirring up anything and spinning NDP politics with no outcry from the public or other parties. That is what he has been used to doing. But the jig is up Jack. You just stepped into the big circle and you have to seriously deliver and get it right. So you will no longer be able to trot around acting like the prime minister, inside Canada and without, like you did in the past. What you have presented as your budget platform would bankrupt Canada in short order. Just think for a moment where would he get the money from? You got it right the first time. The NDP will take it from us in some way and ruin the current steady balanced structure we already have in place. DO NOT BE FOOLED.
